Eugen Seitz has launched a range of solenoid valves certified to safety level AK7/SIL 4, said to be the highest certified reliability level currently available.

Available from Alpha Controls, the valves, which contribute to the reliability and safety of the control loop, can be supplied with coils to EEx protection and are authorised as Intrinsically safe EEx to IIC T6. Featuring Namur connections for direct mounting to pneumatic valve actuators, manifold mounting, or as individual ported valves, orifice sizes are 2 to 12mm, and pressure ranges from 0 to 8 bar.
