REMOTE
MONITORING GOES MOBILE Crucial to the new technology is the Condor liquid level sensor. With its ceramic measuring cell, screened cable and specially designed stainless steel housing, it can operate in the toughest circumstances, such as wastewater applications. This means less chance of a flaw or error reading from the sensor unit. The level sensor has an optional strainer cap which protects the ceramic cell. The extra wide opening combined with the strainer cap makes the sensor less sensitive to pollution, and the screened cable protects the output signal against electromagnetic distortion. For increased communication between water pump and monitoring stations, Condor has also introduced the revolutionary CPS 2 dual pump control. Along with features that have already been tested and proven in the field, such as running current protection and earth leakage detection, the CPS 2 also offers remote control telemetry technology and two-way communication. Digital messages can be transmitted via mobile phone technology to a control station. Reaction time is faster, which could mean detecting a fault before it happens, reducing maintenance costs and increasing efficiency. The CPS 2 is compatible with a GSM modem, an a/b modem, and RS 485 interface or an RS 232 interface, using the waterTEL protocol. It can therefore be installed in a common existing communication stations and other manufacturers. FOR MORE INFORMATION CALL US ON 01942 525833 |
